COVID-19 Update, March 11: Visitor Restrictions at Mid Coast Hospital
Recognizing the importance of visitors to the wellbeing of patients, Mid Coast Hospital is relaxing visitor restrictions on visitors, but many restrictions are still in place. The new visitor policy took effect on March 11, 2021, and applies to all Mid Coast Hospital facilities until further notice.

Storm Update, Thursday, December 17: Delayed Openings
Storm Update, Thursday, December 17: Due to the forecasted winter storm, Mid Coast Medical Group practices, Mid Coast Hospital Rehabilitation, and the Topsham and Bath Laboratory Service Centers will be opening at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 17. The Mid Coast Hospital COVID-19 Testing Site will open at 1 p.m. All other services and procedures will proceed as scheduled.

Mid Coast–Parkview Health Announces Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics
During October and November, Mid Coast–Parkview Health will host a series of drive-thru flu shot clinics in Bath, Brunswick, and Topsham. Clinics will be offered every weekend in October at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview Campus, 329 Maine Street in Brunswick and at varying Mid Coast Medical Group practice locations. The fall 2020 drive-thru clinic schedule is available at www.midcoasthealth.com/flu.

A Message from the Providers of Mid Coast Pediatrics
Mid Coast Hospital, along with Maine Hospital Association, Maine Medical Association, American Nurses Association-Maine, and all other Maine health systems including Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital, are in support of Maine’s new law that requires children be vaccinated in order to attend school, with an exemption for medical circumstances.

Mid Coast Palliative Care Program Expands
This fall, Mid Coast–Parkview Health welcomed the return of David Dumont, MD, FACEP, FAAFP. In addition to being named the new Medical Director of CHANS Home Health & Hospice, Dr. Dumont will also work at Mid Coast Palliative Care, providing specialized care for people and families facing serious and chronic illnesses.

Mid Coast Hospital Installs 3D Mammogram Technology
Mid Coast Hospital Women's Imaging Center, a branch of Diagnostic Imaging, recently introduced a 3D mammography technology that will both increase the capacity for early cancer detection and expand the office's services.

Mid Coast Hospital is warning the community about a phone scam targeting community members. Scammers are calling patients and disguising themselves as Mid Coast Hospital.
