At Healthline, the hospital's Community
Health Improvement Center, we work with
numerous community partners on activities
to improve health and wellness. We develop
and coordinate out-patient and community
education.
It is an honor to represent Mid Coast Hospital
in the community. We value the special dimension
teaching brings to our services as a community
hospital. The ability to offer our patients
the latest in medical knowledge and support
for self-care is a significant enhancement
to the care that Mid Coast Hospital delivers.
Our nurse educators include Carol Freshley,
RN, BS, certified diabetes educator; Marla
Davis, RN, MSN, a certified tobacco treatment
specialist; and Gail Boudin, RN, BS, a certified
holistic health nurse, who teaches Preparation
For Surgery and Heal Faster classes. Click
