Trockman named Director of Community Relations and Outreach for Mid Coast Health Services
Steven J. Trockman, MPH, of Topsham, has been named Director of Community Relations & Outreach for Mid Coast Health Services.

Trockman will be responsible for public relations, communications, and community outreach across the spectrum of Mid Coast Health Services' affiliates. He begins his new role Nov. 15.

"Steve brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in public health and communications to this new position," said Executive Vice President Lois N. Skillings in making the announcement "He will be working with our team to integrate the vision of population health, prevention, and wellness with our overall outreach efforts."

Most recently, Trockman directed the Southern Maine Regional Resource Center for Public Health Emergency Preparedness, which he launched six years ago at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He has also worked for the Maine Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.

Trockman is chairman of the Sagadahoc County Board of Health. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, and his master's degree in public health from Emory University, Atlanta, GA.
