Spiritual Care Volunteers—A Chance to Serve
Many people want spiritual care when they experience strong feelings produced by a crisis in their lives or the lives of their loved ones.
Mid Coast Hospital spiritual care volunteers do not have all the answers.
But they are willing to be present and to support others as they seek their own answers in the midst of hardship.
Volunteers in our spiritual care program come from a wide range of religious and spiritual backgrounds. Their willingness to reach across faith-group boundaries without proselytizing, shows a love and grace which can be deeply encouraging to others as they experience spiritual distress related to their health or the wellbeing of others.
If this is an activity in which you would be interested in participating, please get in touch.
