The Role of Philanthropy in High-Quality Healthcare
As a non-profit organization, Mid Coast Hospital relies on the support of our volunteers, donors, and our community to ensure we are able to deliver compassionate, high-quality, accessible medical services for everyone in our community.
We are delighted to announce that this year's Annual Giving Fund Campaign will be co-chaired by James P. Rines, MD, and his wife Michelle Rines, RN, MSN, who have seen first-hand the important role philanthropy has played in delivering high-quality healthcare during their combined 60 years of experience as healthcare leaders.
James and Michelle moved to the Mid Coast area in 1992 just after Dr. Rines opened his practice in internal medicine in Bath. Michelle worked as a home healthcare nurse and advanced care provider specializing in gerontology. In recent years, they have served on numerous community boards and committees, giving them a deep understanding of the needs of our community.
"In these unprecedented times, healthcare philanthropy has never been more vital. The extraordinary early support we have received for Mid Coast Hospital's Annual Giving Campaign is a gratifying vote of confidence in the future of our community, and we hope everyone will join us in this effort," said Michelle.
Please join Dr. Rines and Michelle in making a donation to Mid Coast Hospital's 2023 Annual Giving Fund. Your investment will help support our local hospital's mission of delivering the highest quality care.
"Our donors have always been our partners in moving forward. We are thrilled with the opportunity this campaign has afforded us to support that enduring partnership," said Dr. Rines.
