ALS Clinic
The ALS Clinic is a one-location clinic for patients with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).
Patients attending the four-hour clinic will be assessed on the following:
- Rehabilitation evaluation for mobility and assistive devices
- Neurological evaluation
- Speech and swallowing evaluation
- Breathing evaluation
- Nutrition evaluation
- Behavioral health
- Palliative care
- Symptom management
While some patients may benefit from a brief series of clinic visits, others may require just one. The clinic is held on the second Friday of every month.
