Mid Coast–Parkview Health Announces 2021 Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics
During the month of October, Mid Coast–Parkview Health will host a series of drive-thru flu shot clinics at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview Campus, 329 Maine Street in Brunswick. Clinics will be offered the first four weekends in October from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mid Coast–Parkview Health Announces Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics
During October and November, Mid Coast–Parkview Health will host a series of drive-thru flu shot clinics in Bath, Brunswick, and Topsham. Clinics will be offered every weekend in October at Mid Coast Hospital’s Parkview Campus, 329 Maine Street in Brunswick and at varying Mid Coast Medical Group practice locations. The fall 2020 drive-thru clinic schedule is available at www.midcoasthealth.com/flu.

Mid Coast–Parkview Health, MaineHealth Explore Integration
On February 19, the Mid Coast–Parkview Health board of directors voted to engage with MaineHealth to explore the possibility of integrating into the MaineHealth system. A board exploratory committee has been formed, tasked with evaluating the integration in a four- to six-month process which will include comprehensive community and stakeholder engagement.

Center for Community Health & Wellness to Host Mini-Retreat
The Mid Coast Center for Community Health & Wellness will be adding to its mindfulness offerings with three-hour mini retreats offered three times throughout the year. The first, Mindful Morning, will be held on Saturday, December 8 from 9 a.m. until noon.

CHANS Announces Free Flu Shot Clinics
Over the next three months, CHANS Home Health & Hospice will provide more than 50 public flu shot clinics throughout the Midcoast region. Available free of charge to anyone in the community over six months of age, the vaccinations help to prevent the spread of seasonal influenza.

CHANS Vaccinates 4,750, Urges Others to Help Prevent Spread of Flu
Maine Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) has distributed a Public Health Advisory that flu activity in Maine is widespread with laboratory-confirmed influenza reported in all 16 counties. Maine’s Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory has indicated that most strains of influenza are circulating in Maine.

Mid Coast–Parkview Health Recognizes Employees for Years of Service
Mid Coast Hospital, Mid Coast Senior Health Center, and CHANS Home Health & Hospice recently held two afternoon receptions recognizing employees for years of service. Mid Coast–Parkview Health senior administration presented more than 230 individuals with awards, celebrating milestone service anniversaries from 5 to 45 years. More than two thirds of the employees recognized have worked with the organization for more than ten years.
