In addition to inpatient therapy services at Mid Coast Hospital, our outpatient therapy offices are located throughout the community.
Rehabilitation Locations
Mid Coast Hospital Rehabilitation supports the full spectrum of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and therapy needs. This includes fall prevention and balance training as well as adapting to and living with chronic conditions. Other rehabilitation services include self-care, arthritis, osteoporosis, neurology and women’s health rehabilitation as well as pediatric therapy.
Rehabilitation During Hospitalization
When patients are hospitalized due to illness or accident, they often find themselves with various functional limitations such as difficulty getting out of bed, walking, bathing, feeding or speaking. Our dedicated therapy team delivers professional and compassionate care with the goal of setting patients up for success at home or as they move on to the next phase of their rehabilitation journey.

The Mid Coast Orthopedic Therapy Center supports patients of the Mid Coast Center for Joint Replacement as well as those who had joint surgeries elsewhere.
The Mid Coast Orthopedic Therapy Center collaborates with Mid Coast Medical Group, partners’ out-patient centers, and various community organizations. It also offers athletic training services to student athletes at local high schools. The team is skilled in orthopedic rehabilitation and sports-related injuries.

The Mid Coast Therapy Center at the Highlands offers one-on-one physical therapy services. It supports members of the Highlands as well as the greater Topsham-Brunswick community. Physical therapy services include general orthopedics, fall prevention/balance retraining, general conditioning and stroke rehabilitation.

The Mid Coast Therapy Center at Maine Pines provides physical therapy to clients with orthopedic injuries and illnesses of varying degrees. Patients have access to a private gym within Maine Pines to receive one-on-one care. They also have access to the main gym equipment.
