Do you know a special teenager who is interested in the medical field? Or perhaps you’re interested in helping others and making a difference in your community? Join the Mid Coast–Parkview Health Junior Volunteer program today!
Mid Coast–Parkview Health firmly believes in cultivating a quality workforce. One important facet of this program is the summer Junior Volunteer program, which can be supplemented with afterschool volunteer hours during the academic year.
The program encourages teenage participants to pursue careers as nurses, physicians, engineers, chefs, x-ray and laboratory technicians, social workers, accountants, pharmacists, dieticians, and countless other professions.
Volunteering at Mid Coast–Parkview Health gives students:
- A chance to be part of a team in a professional atmosphere.
- The opportunity to work within a caring, nurturing culture.
- The chance to meet students from other high schools in Midcoast Maine.
- The knowledge to make a difference in their communities for the rest of their lives.
- The ability to complete service hours for high school graduation while having fun at the same time.
